Update

I just wanted to give a quick update on how the first day of school went. It was awesome. He did so well. They have this area where you can watch your kids and they can't see you so Todd and I went to go check on Joseph. I was totally expecting the worse, thinking he was probably curled up in a corner asleep from crying so much. When we got there he was out on the play ground having so much fun. I was totally relived but then I thought the minute he came back to the classroom he would freak. Again I was wrong. He was having so much fun. We also got to see him in a therapy session and he did so well. I'm really thinking I'm a bad influence on him. The teacher called me after school and told me she was so impressed and that he did so well. When he got home he just had this littler smirk on his face like he was proud of himself too. It's funny the things your kids can do without you. So this is a picture of him this morning waiting for the bus. He was doing just great, I'm going again to the school to watch him and I'm really hoping for the same outcome. Yeah! He likes school!!!! ( I'm knocking on wood)

Congratulations!!! That's so cute and I'm sure so exciting for you that Joseph enjoys school.
I can't believe he rides the bus. I would absolutely loose it to see my child climb onto the bus for the first time.
Enjoy your free time.

LUCKY! I wish Parker's school had the little spy glass thing! I love those little peek-a-boo windows they have on the nursery doors...I could sit and watch the whole hour.

Yeah!!! I got a little teary just reading! I'm so happy that he did so well...I can't imagine the heart wrenching moments that you had during the day, not knowing. Kids are smart and they learn to take care of themselves and survive just fine without us, dangit! Happy first day, Abby! You did it!

That is so great that he loved school. He is so adorable & it's probably nice to have a few hours with just 1 kid. Paige doesn't really like school, but James & I like the time we have to hang out together.

First day is always the scariest. I have learned that I freak out more than my kids. I cry every year on the 1st day of school. I even cry when I take Sandy to school and she is in 7th grade.

Hey ABBY!! I just set up our blog and I was so excited to see everyones blogs from the old ward. Joseph is huge, he's like a little boy with all his teeth and a mohawk and going to school. AND you have another little boy! Congrats. The last time I saw you you were still having trouble getting pregnant. I'm so happy I finally set up a blog now we can all keep in touch. Can't wait to hear from you!!

That is SO great!!!! I love that you could go see how he was doing. I think we all feel like our kids always need their moms -and are amazed and maybe a little sad when they get along without us!! So lucky to have such a great team working with him!!
