John Russell Runyan came into the world at 10:56 PM on April 19th. The little guy weighed in at 9 lbs. 6 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Mother and baby are doing just great.

Um, when were you due?? For some reason that went really fast for me. O.K. you should get a reward 9lbs. 6oz. that is huge. I cant even imagine.
Now that the shock is wearing off I want you guys to know I think he is darling. What a special time. When our first was born it was traumatic cause we thought she was going to die and I was so doped up I don't remember that much but after the second I gained a new understanding and love for brand new babies. I almost want to have another one right now (almost) It makes me emotional to think that you are experiencing the new stages of life for your little sweetie. It really is a miracle - an amazing spiritual miracle. CONGRATS.

Abby, Congrats!! He is so cute. He is almost the same size as my 2 month old. I hope all is good with you and your family. I ran into your mom on St. Patricks day and she said you were expecting another one. He is adorable. My best peice of advice--sleep when the baby sleeps. Ha. I think the person who came up with that phrase only had one kid. Take care and good luck.
